2015-2016-season

25 June 2023/by CTJFC

U12s White – END OF SEASON

That’s the end of 2015-16 season and what a season it proved to be. The first ever season for this new team. Lots of new players getting used to playing as a team for the first time.

Unfortunately with the record bad weather our final 5 games were a wash out but with us being undefeated in our last 4 games played and winning the last 2 we have a great deal to look forward to next season.

Every player has transformed their own game this year. Our new goal keeper Jake looks the part and I’m sure he will become immense in goal for us. The defence has grown tremendously with both Ben and Max turning into Giants at centre back. McKenzie ( Mr Dependable) as always and Dans pace and energy proving key both attacking and defending.
Then the midfield Jack has taken time to appreciate his new role as defensive midfielder but he’s getting in now and the last few months for me at least have seen him our most improved player. He will be great next year. Then there’s Chris, cracking left foot and super skilful. Barty – a magic player lots of skill, silky smooth, masses of talent. Those 3 will be our creative force next year and I’m looking forward to seeing them play. On the attack we’ve got our goal machine in Dominic and Ben Stubbs who’s got everything sheer Class. Supporting those two our best player this year Jayden who I’m hoping will prosper with a new attacking role this season.

We’ve got a couple of new additions coming to the fold this year Lewis joins us from our sister team along with Bobs returning from Sandbach and Mr Personality Harry Glover comes to offer Jake a little competition.

I’m confident we’re going to be very competitive this year. But as always we stick to our philosophy of playing attractive, passing football from back to front!! But before EVERYTHING – WE ENJOY OURSELVES.
With 11 players we can finally play everyone in their proper positions and at the same time. I, for one, am really excited to see how you all will play !!!

Thanks to all our players this year and supporters. Parents and family. The boys need you all this coming year !! Let’s kick on together now and have a great year !!!

Well done everyone Jon
